  • Stevie, I'd like to believe that, but I just don't think it's so. Our society rarely perceives a female as the aggressor. In almost every case, a woman's rage or violence is accepted on the basis that the male did something to provoke it.

  • Nooo.. I did not say it gives him a right to do anything. All I said was I can understand what drove him to this point. The point I was trying to make is that you can't judge him as a violent person unfit for society based on this one incident.

  • Once again, this is an adult-sized person covered up in winter gear. No way of knowing if the was 14 or 41. And frankly, what he did is just as wrong no matter the age of the other person. But I like how folks act like it's so much more wrong because she was "younger" and "weaker".

  • Steve, I love how you generalize about the dad based on this one incident. So from this one instance you can conclude that he is a violent person who beats the crap out of everybody who cuts him off in traffic. Wow, you are amazing!

  • PublicEnemy, Mike may be incorrect about the details of this particular incident, but the general behavior he describes is everywhere. And as a parent of small children, it makes it difficult to enjoy taking them anywhere - the zoo, the mall, city parks, etc.
